Alternative Fuel Car Solar Power Energy Generation Guide
Alternative Fuel Car With Better Options
By J K Hellios
Alternative fuel car is continually being developed
by many keen enthusiasts and the major car companies
are making alternative fuel cars to sell all around
the world.
You can buy a car that runs on biofuels, like ethanol.
Some of the buses you see on the highways these days,
are running on ethanol. Electric cars are being developed
where you can buy either a hybrid car that runs on electric
battery with the ability to switch to fossil fuels when
the power of the battery is exhausted.
Charge Your Battery Overnight
New and better models of all electric cars are being
developed, where they can be charged at charging stations
along your route. The most appealing idea, is to charge
your battery overnight and then you can drive to work
the next morning. As newer and better models are developed,
then the risk of fossil fuel sources running out, becomes
less threatening.
Using environmentally friendly options to run our cars,
may help clean up our atmosphere and maintain a clean
environment. Instead of noxious exhaust fumes polluting
the atmosphere, we will have clean air. This should
be the legacy we leave our children and will be grateful
when they are buying new cars.
Cars Of The Future Running With Alternative Fuel
Not too many people are buying new cars these days.
For one thing, they’re expensive. If you don’t have
perfect credit, financing can be difficult in the current
credit market. However, most important is that no one
is sure what the cars of the future will be.
It seems certain that, in the near future, the alternative
fuel car will make its debut, but how will this all
fall out? There are a number of viable alternative fuel
car developers, each with a possible solution. With
this in the offing, people are reluctant to spend upwards
of $20,000, plus interest, on tomorrow’s dinosaur.
High School Students Designed A Car To Run On Old
Grease From Fryers
You would think, if ordinary citizen entrepreneurs
are coming up with workable solutions, surely the engineers
at the big car companies would be able to design and
produce an alternative fuel car in a heartbeat.
There were a couple of high school students who fooled
around with a car until they managed to make it run
on old grease from fryers at roadside diners! Not only
that, but the diner owners were happy to be rid of the
old grease and gave it to the boys for free! Now that’s
ingenious.
Algal Blooms To Run A Car
Some farmers in southern Oregon had an algae covered
pond on their land and somehow came upon the notion
that the algae could power an alternative fuel car.
It worked. Last I heard, they had built artificial ponds,
stacked one upon another, inside a greenhouse structure
in order to mass produce their fuel.
As everyone knows, if it works, don’t fix it. Why doesn’t
somebody give these poor Oregon farmers a grant to test
the viability of such an alternative fuel car? I seem
to remember some earmark bill which funded the counting
of fish in a certain river. Who knows that this isn’t
the most efficient solution? We need to find out. Algae
is nothing, if not renewable!
Electric Cars With Charging Stations
The electric car seems like an OK idea. Surely there
could be charging stations as conveniently placed as
our current gas stations. If the government has $700
billion to throw around, surely they can make this an
investment in the infrastructure.
The ethanol and corn alternative fuel car ideas seem
OK, but it requires a heck of a lot of agricultural
land in which to grow this fuel. There are too many
people starving in the world, so this idea goes to the
bottom of my list for now.
Hybrid Alternative Fuel Car
The hybrid alternative fuel car is already in production,
but it’s possible that the car makers are just holding
on to the oil fuel concept as long as they can, until
a truly efficient alternative is decided upon. These
hybrids are costly, too. We’re told that this is due
to the high development costs and that prices will come
down later on. This doesn’t make a good case for buying
now.
How about a solar-powered alternative fuel car? This
could be another hybrid. When the solar power runs out,
you’d switch over to algae! Or is that fryer grease?
Windmill Farms Are Cool
Personally, I find the idea of wind intriguing. The
windmill farms are cool. Perhaps some bright teen will
come up with a way to power a car with wind, the ultimate
renewable resource.
There are so many concepts when seeking to review your
options. There is the hydrogen fuel car, where water
is produced, instead of carbon monoxide, as with many
fossil fuel burning cars of today.
Adverse Social Consequences And Damage To The Environment
When we are considering these different options we
need to ensure the source is renewable and there are
no adverse social consequences and damage to the environment.
When you consider ethanol fuel, the source of the fuel
is usually corn, where the corn may normally be produced
to feed the local population and it is instead used
to create fuels for our cars. This may affect the local
population and cause social unrest if there is not enough
food to go around.
Solar Cars Do Not Use Biofuels
Rather than using biofuels, we may look at solar powered
cars as the ultimate in renewable energy to fuel our
cars, as the source of the energy is the sun and using
this source does not affect the environment, create
noxious exhaust fumes or food production in local populations.
Once these solar cars are fully developed, where they
can be relied upon and be competitive with the fossil
fuel burring cars of today, then we may discover that
solar powered cars are the best option for an alternative
fuel car.

Little Known Electric Car Facts.....
How does an electric car affect the environment?
The first thing that needs to be
addressed is that electric cars, depending on how the
fuel cells are created, are not entirely environmentally
friendly. Yes, they do not use gasoline and do not give
off any emissions but some models do have power grids
that use coal.
There are models of power grids
that are being developed that do away with the use of
coal. Even with using coal for the power grids, electric
cars are a vast, vast improvement over gasoline vehicles
and as a result are much better for the
environment.
