Cause Of Global Warming And Little Steps To Prevention
By John M Saragunter
Cause of global warming is well known and the actions
we take to stop the catastrophic effects to our environment,
our living planet, will also affect our way of life.
Many of the costal towns around the world may well be
underwater, when the global warming takes full effect.
There are steps you can take to help prevent the eventual
reality of global warming. One, is to use electricity
from a non-polluting source, like solar or wind power.
Another, is to change from a gas guzzling car to a hybrid
or an all electric car. The electric
cars are the cars of tomorrow and they are available
today. The gas guzzlers of today are emitting high levels
of pollution, helping to increase the speed to assist
the cause of global warming.
The Effects Of Global Warming
Although the effects of global warming are nowadays
felt everywhere, there is still some uncertainty about
the cause. Don’t get me wrong – many of the main culprits
are well understood.
Burning fossil fuels, cutting down forests, increasing
methane production through breeding too many cattle
– all of these contribute to global climate change.
Nonetheless, the verdict is still not in asked to what
is the main cause and how much of a role each factor
plays.
Whatever the cause of global warming, it is about time
to do something about it. The problem is that there
are so many problems that individual actions can seem
ineffective. There are a lot of small things you can
do to counteract the causes of global warming.
Small Changes You Can Do To Help Stop Global Warming
You can cut down on your consumption, turn off the
lights when you leave your room, turn down the heat,
weatherproof your house better, and drive less. Still,
there is considerable debate about whether we can do
enough as individuals. How much do these small changes
really add up to?
Nowadays, more and more people believe that we have
to address the cause of global warming as a culture
and as a world. Our global environment affects all of
us, and together we have to make the decision to act
in a way that will safeguard it for future generations.
Joining Action Groups To Help Defeat Climate Change
More and more people are joining political action groups,
organizing with other activists to help defeat environmental
climate change. It is not too late to do something about
it, but it is getting to that crucial hour. If we don’t
all work together to fight the causes of global warming,
who knows how things will look a decade down the line.
There are many different things you can do in your
community to battle the cause of global warming. You
can organize for better community recycling programs,
better public transportation, and incentives to encourage
businesses and consumers to use more environmentally
friendly practices.
Writing letters on your own can do a little bit, but
organizing with other people to express a coherent political
platform can do much more. It is the best way, in fact,
to really get your voice heard by local, state, and
national politicians. If you show them that the cause
of global warming is of concern to you, they will listen
and they will do something about it. Together, we can
all do something to avert the coming environmental catastrophe.
Reduce Dependency On Polluting Industries
If we rely less on polluting industries sending huge
amounts of emissions into the atmosphere, then all these
polluting industries will have to change their industrial
processes or shut down completely. For example, if you
change your electricity requirements from a fossil fuel
burning or a nuclear power plant to solar power, then
you are taking action to slow down global warming.
When you buy electricity from a fossil fuel burning
power plant, they are usually burning coal or gas, which
is dug out of the ground and transported huge distances
to the plant and burned with high emissions sent into
the atmosphere.
If you change to solar power, free sun energy is trapped
from the sun and then converted to solar power without
emissions. There are no ongoing electricity generation
charges when generating electricity using a solar power
system in your home. This means, after you pay for the
installation of the solar power system, there are no
more charges for generating solar power. Solar power
saves you in the long term, and there are no emissions,
so it does not add to the climate change pollution process.
As you can see there are a number of steps you can
take today, to help stop the cause of global warming
affecting our future generations.

Little Known Solar Facts.....
What is the Kyoto Protocol?
The Kyoto Protocol is an agreement
between nations that is aimed at reducing the consumption
of fossil fuels and reducing the amount of greenhouse gases.
Current theories state that the "Greenhouse
Effect" is a dire predicament Earth is facing
as rising temperatures occur all over the Earth.
This rise in temperature will allegedly cause
climactic changes and the extinction of many species.
What does it have to do with solar power?
It actually has quite a bit
to do with solar power. The whole thought process
behind using the sun is for a renewable energy
source that is completely environmentally friendly.
Science has proven that the byproduct of fossil
fuels is huge amounts of carbon dioxide and other
deadly gases. The goal of the Kyoto Protocol is
to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases and find
alternative energy sources.
