Green Energy Resources For Home And Business
By John M Saragunter
If you’re trying to make some environmental changes
in your home or business, then there are a great many
green energy resources available to you, once you know
where to look for them. Countless organizations exist
that provide information at every level of complexity.
On one end of the spectrum there are those that deal
in international business ventures, while at the other
end stand the organizations that can help individuals
or families. To keep your company updated as you do
your research, many websites offer green energy news
so you stay aware of the latest developments in the
energy world.
You may start, at a personal level, with green energy
blogs. Sometimes these are simply news sites where interesting
stories are posted and commented on, but other blogs
describe an individual’s own journey with green energy.
Follow A Blog Chronicling The Switch To Green Power
So you might run into the blog of a person explaining
in great detail how they built their own wind turbine.
Others might chronicle the gradual switch to green power
that their family is making. All of these can also be
sources of encouragement and comradeship as you follow
others taking the same journey as you.
On the business side of things, many green energy resources
involve the Green Jobs Act passed by the US House of
Representatives in 2007, which has given rise to initiatives
like Green For All (www.greenforall.org).
Community Participating In Green Economic Works
This organization has a twofold purpose; build a green
economy and lift people out of poverty. So not only
does it try to create green energy jobs, but it engages
in programs like "Green the Block," designed
to help low income communities get access to the resources
they need to create and participate in their own green
economic works.
One website which will likely become one of your most
valuable green energy resources is for a U.S. Department
of Energy office called Energy Efficiency and Renewable
Energy, or EERE (http://www.eere.energy.gov/).
Financial Assistance For Green Projects
This site provides green energy information for large
state and business projects, but also gives you other
information, such as which light bulbs to use at home,
or how to get financial assistance for green projects
or get tax credits for home improvements.
Between this site and the other resources you’ll find,
you should have what you need to make any changes you
want to make, whether it’s at home or in your business.

Little Known Green Energy Facts.....
Why is turning to green energy sources so important?
Humanity has finally wizened up
and realized that the gas guzzling, coal burning, oil
consuming days of the past are quickly drawing to an
end. The energy sources used in the past were non-renewable.
Once a fossil fuel is depleted there is no more. It
takes millions of years to create those fossil fuels.
Burning those fossil fuels has
taken a terrible toll on the environment. The carbon
emitted from the burning of fossil fuels has seriously
compromised the environment in ways that people are
still struggling to understand.
Turning to renewable energy sources
is vital. There will come a day when the world’s supply
of fossil fuels is gone and the only hope of survival
is renewable energy. The more people turn to it now,
the less damage is done to the environment.
That is why it is so important
for people to start immediately rather than wait until
it is too late and Earth is no longer environmentally
friendly to any life form.
