Hot Water Heaters Solar Power Energy Generation Guide
Hot Water Heaters With New Energy Saving Tankless Versions
By Gerard J Howson
Solar water heating is one way that people are using
to conserve energy, yet continue to use hot water. A
tankless hot water system is another method that a great
many people are now turning to.
With this type of system, no heat is turned on until
the tap is turned on and hot water is actually needed.
This does away with the constant heating that goes on
in tank-based hot water heaters, and saves fuel and
energy costs.
Another plus, when it comes to a review of these water
heaters and environmental matters is that the life expectancy
of a tankless heater is more than that of a tank. A
tank tends to last from ten to perhaps twelve years,
whereas the life expectancy of most tankless hot water
units is about twenty years.
Saving Money With A Longer Life Expectancy
This means that although it usually costs a fair bit
upfront to install a tankless unit, one way you make
up for that is by going several years longer before
having to spend money on a new heater. Even a replacement
tankless unit, twenty years from now, will cost less
than an entire new water tank would have.
Apart from energy savings, these hot water heaters
provide other types of advantages too. For example,
because the units for individual rooms are not very
large, they can be wall-mounted.
Constant Supply Of Hot Water
This saves floor space in a basement or utility room.
That constant supply of hot water, no matter how long
you run it, is the best advantage in most people’s minds.
No more being second in line for a shower and having
to stand there in cold water!
Though that’s not necessarily an environmental plus
if this efficient water heater makes you use more water
than in the past.
Require Extra Wiring For Electrical Heaters
To install water heater units like these, though, often
involves considerable renovation of your home, when
you put in higher grade ductwork for gas-powered heaters
or extra wiring for electrical.
Using these hot water heaters is not a casual thing,
but requires work and good preparation. They may also
work less well in a climate where the incoming water
is very cold. So you need to be aware of all of these
factors, to understand the burdens as well as the
benefits.

Little Known Solar Facts.....
Unless you have a severe sun allergy that prohibits
you from walking outside or being near a window during
the day, you have felt the power of the sun. The warming
rays ensure humanity’s very existence. Since the beginning
humans have needed the sun to grow food, provide warmth
and light the way.
It may just be another star in the sky but for Earth
it is what gives us life. There is more to the sun than
just allowing us to spend a day outside. It can be the
solution to our energy problems.
Solar power may be the future of the Earth.
