of today. You do not have to wait 40 years for new technology
to be created, to save energy.
For example, you can turn off the lights as you are

not using them and are not essential to your well being.
Many electronic systems continue to use energy, even
if they are switched off.
Rather than buying new products and disposing all your
household garbage to be sent to landfill, why not send
your recyclables to be recycled? Keep using your current

use, but all accounts it still requires less energy
than always using new resources.
Saving money in this way is simple and easy, and as
more and more do it, things will turn around. You may
be able to think of your own ways for going about saving
energy, and when you do, share with those you know so
that they can do them too.

If you know there is a recycling service in your area,
but you are not using it, then you need to start recycling
your household waste, to avoid all your household garbage
going to landfill. You can contact the recycling service
and find out the type of recyclable materials collected
and the days they come to collect and place all your
recyclables on the curb for collection.
Most recycling services collect glass and plastic bottles,
aluminum cans and paper products. The recycling service
will also tell you what they do not collect, so ensure
you do not place any unrecyclable products in your recycling
bin.

power in your home. Using electricity from fossil fuel
burning power stations contributes to greenhouse pollution
and generates too much wasted energy.

in your home, you will realise a massive reduction in
