The Great Barrier Reef Is A Natural Wonder
By John M Saragunter
The great barrier reef is one of the endangered natural
wonders of the world that may disappear, if global warming
is allowed by politicians, scientists and industrialists
to progress to its dangerous proportions.
It has been predicted that over time, a lot of the
natural wonders of the world, and many species of plants,
animals and other forms of life will disappear as they
are unable to survive global warming. We should try
to hold onto as much of this treasure our planet has
to offer, rather than continue to argue the finer points
of global warming.
Come And See The Great Barrier Reef
There are many things in the world that I want to see,
and the Great Barrier Reef is one of them. I plan to
go to Australia soon, but I’m not sure I’ll get to see
it. I’m pretty sure you have to go underwater to see
it properly, and I’m afraid that is not going to happen,
at least not any time soon.
This is one of the attractions that Australia has to
offer, and there are many that go there just to see
this magnificent sight. Recently, I have been hearing
a lot about global warming. It’s been a topic since
I was a child, but it seems to be getting to be more
and more of a problem as of late.
Global Warming May Affect The Great Barrier Reef
This topic is getting more attention than ever before,
and it would seem that would be because we are reaching
the stage of no return. If we don’t do something, we
are going to have quite a few problems. One of those
problems is that we might lose the Great Barrier Reef
if we are not careful.
I’ve been following it up on it a bit, and it seems
any changes in the oceans could upset the delicate balance
around the Great Barrier Reef, and that could cause
it to disappear.
Visit The Great Barrier Reef Before It Disappears
There are many habitats that will be affected. Though
some may think the Great Barrier Reef is the least of
our problems, it is a problem, and it is one that deserves
attention. It seems with each passing year our planet
loses some of the natural wonders that make this a great
place to live. It’s the only place we have.
If you want to visit the Great Barrier Reef, you can
find special travel packages to get you there. What
you will pay will depend on where in the world you are
coming from, when you want to go, and how long you want
to stay. Some packages are all inclusive, but you can
save money by booking each option on your own.
Different Seasons In Australia
If you live in the United States, remember that the
seasons are opposite near Australia, and you might want
to make sure you go in December or January. Those are
the warmest months of the year in that part of the world.
June and July might be the worst times to go, but it
might still be possible, and it won’t be as warm.
You should also check to ensure you do not arrive in
the middle of the cyclone season, so you check before
you make a booking to see the Great Barrier Reef. Now
there are plenty of islands in the area, and many scuba
diving spots, including scuba diving training.
Enrolling In A Scuba Diving School
If you have never been scuba diving, you may need to
enroll in one of the diving schools to learn scuba diving,
before you go into the water, head first. Some travel
agents include the option to learn scuba diving as one
of the options in a package, but if it is not included
ask the travel agent to include it for you.
There are other options, like viewing underwater from
a boat, going underwater in a small sub. This may be
one of the more expensive options, but if you really
want to experience the living reef underwater, without
scuba diving, then you may look for this option.
This may an opportune time, as politicians, scientists
and industrialists argue the finer points of global
warming, to see a great natural wonder like the Great
Barrier Reef, before it disappears.

Little Known Global Warming Facts.....
Are there regulations in place to prevent industries
from polluting the environment?
There are regulations in place
for countries who are members of the United Nations
Framework Convention on Climate Change and who have
signed the Kyoto Protocol amendment.
The countries agree that they
will limit the amount of greenhouse gas emissions they
produce each year. Some countries, due to being underdeveloped,
do not have a cap on the amount of greenhouse gases
whereas the larger countries do.
