Ways To Prevent Global Warming Solar Power Energy Generation Guide
Ways To Prevent Global Warming With Renewable Resources
By John M Saragunter
Ways to prevent global warming include the use of renewable,
environmentally friendly resources like sun energy,
solar and wind power, tidal power and other renewable
systems. Sun energy is free, as it is trapped from the
sun by solar panels and there are no ongoing fees to
generate solar power in your home or business. This
fact alone, helps reduce the cost of electricity when
using solar power in your home and business.
If you use environmentally friendly systems to supply
electricity to your home and business, go to work in
an electric car and use energy efficient appliances,
then you are helping in preventing global warming becoming
a global reality. If everyone on this planet makes their
little contribution, then the catastrophic predictions
of global warming may be prevented.
Time For Action Against Global Warming
It is time for politicians, scientists and industrialists
to stop arguing the finer points of global warming,
review their options and start taking action with ways
to prevent global warming. Some of the ways include
the phasing out of polluting cars, and replacing them
with cars that do not emit pollution.
Give incentives to people to use clean public transport,
instead of traveling to work with one person per car.
More people should either use public transport to get
to work, or if public transport is not available in
your area, then use car pooling, so that a number of
people can travel in one car.
The World Needs To Develop And Implement Ways To Prevent
Global Warming
It’s been many years now since global warming surfaced
in public awareness. For many years since the concept
was introduced, certain contingents were in denial.
Despite world renowned scientists, agencies and organizations
being in agreement that the world needed to quickly
develop and implement ways to prevent global warming,
not enough has been done.
It’s getting to a critical juncture as we speak. Desperate
situations sometimes require desperate measures. You
wouldn’t think that an issue as important as the survival
of humanity would need to be quibbled over and bickered
about for years before some real action was taken.
Global Warming May Affect The Great Barrier Reef
There have been some steps taken in the effort to initiate
ways to prevent global warming, but a bit slow if you
ask me. The recent move to subsidize the growing of
corn to be made into fuel smacks a bit of pork barreling.
Especially when a recent news report stated that sorghum,
a far less acreage-heavy crop, which produces four times
the energy, can serve the same purpose in a superior
way. Aren’t there scientists who could have brought
this to light before they ever started down the corn
road? Probably so.
Free Energy From East River Currents In New York City
News sources also recently revealed that New York City’s
electric use, at a current cost of $13 billion a year,
has prompted some clever engineer to harness the water
currents in the East River with turbines. These turbines,
turning much like a windmill does, creates great gobs
of free energy. This project is now in the works. This
solution is one of the great ways to prevent global
warming. Other cities with such resources, take note!
There’s really no time to waste.
The greatest detriment of ways to prevent global warming
seems to boil down to a lack of publicity. Maybe it’s
really a marketing issue. In order to spur our trusty
government folks on, a certain Frenchman, Alain Robert,
also known as ‘Spiderman’, decided to climb
the 52-story New York Times building as a publicity
stunt, to promote the issues involved in ways to prevent
global warming. Mr. Robert has climbed up more than
70 famous structures worldwide, including the Eiffel
Tower.
Marketing The Global Warming Message With Activism
As he ascended, he stopped briefly on the 15th floor
to unroll and display a day-glo yellow, can’t-miss-it,
banner which read, "Global warming kills more people
than 9/11 every week." Now that’s an attention-getter!
Apparently, some people took offense at mentioning
global warming in connection to 9/11. However, it’s
surely something people can relate to in terms of horrific
numbers. Mr. Roberts was arrested at the top of the
skyscraper and charged with reckless endangerment, making
graffiti, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
Jeez!
The arresting detectives deemed him to be ’unrepentant’.
Mr. Robert’s comment was, "I just did my
stuff for my statements on global warming." He
did make a big splash in the media. Time’s growing
short, so, whatever it takes, I say.
Preventing The Destructive Consequences Of Global
Warming
It may be time to start taking serious action to prevent
the destructive consequences of global warming. Action
like more research to enhance the use of renewable resources
and applying the current alternative systems like solar
power, wind power and other non-polluting, renewable
free resources at a much wider level.
If more people choose to live in solar homes, where
everything including the lights and home appliances
are run on solar power, then there would be a reduced
need for fossil fuel burning and nuclear power stations.
Eventually these old and outdated polluting technologies
will be phased out.
Sun Energy Is Free, Renewable And Environmentally Friendly
Solar power is generated from free sun energy and it
is renewable, as energy from the sun is always available
and does not have to be dug up from the ground and transported
long distances. To trap free sun energy, all you need
are solar panels. More and more people are realising,
solar power is the way of the future and we can start
implementing solar power systems now.
If we continue to increase the application of free
and renewable resources, then we have found one of the
easier ways to prevent global warming.

Little Known Global Warming Facts.....
Are there regulations in place to prevent industries
from polluting the environment?
There are regulations in place
for countries who are members of the United Nations
Framework Convention on Climate Change and who have
signed the Kyoto Protocol amendment.
The countries agree that they
will limit the amount of greenhouse gas emissions they
produce each year. Some countries, due to being underdeveloped,
do not have a cap on the amount of greenhouse gases
whereas the larger countries do.
